Our Mission is not ComplexWe assist those who are working through injuries and illness towards achieving their goals with a team approach to health. We recognize it is difficult enough to deal with the injury or illness without having to work around all the support services that require Doctor visits, assessments, union issues, human resource problems, workers compensation requirements and the myriad of agencies that may have suddenly found their way into your life. We help take those issues off your plate, allowing you to concentrate on getting well. You are not alone and neither is Genesis Genesis has developed a network of affiliations with accredited health professionals who have the knowledge and skills to best approach your needs. We have learned that the key to success is knowing who to contact and when to include their services. Who are We?
Genesis has an in-house team of 4 consultants led by Arlene Ward M.ED,, B.HE,, T.E., R.R.P., but in reality our team is as big as it needs to be, consulting with and contracting specialists across the province. Our group is collaborative and very well qualified to tackle almost any issue that should present itself. We have been incorporated since 2000 with our head office in Nanaimo, British Columbia, Canada. Genesis provides Vocational Rehabilitation Services specifically to Vancouver Island but has the capability of providing services to the lower mainland of British Columbia and the Sunshine Coast.
Why Build a Genesis Website? We felt it was important that there was a place you could go to find out about Genesis. Many Vocational Rehabilitation internet sites where reviewed to discover what was significant to post in ours. We learned that almost all companies provided basically the same services with the same qualifications so what was really essential to say? The Genesis staff are real people with solid knowledge of health services and through life experiences and education, "Degree's in Doin' it" We know when to recommend specialists and know what to expect from them. We know how to communicate with doctors and other health professionals. We understand the importance of protecting the client and the funding agencies. We have learned how to work with the Unions and the HR departments. We have a strong working knowledge of "Duty to Accommodate", "Human Rights Legislation" and the "Charter of Rights and Freedoms". We Know.... ... the bottom line is getting well and getting back to work or just learning how to best cope. and .... we know how to help you get there.
